Wow I can't believe you are 6 months old! On June 9th we saw Dr. Fakhir for your 6 month check-up. You were 7.72kg (17lbs) and 68 cm (26.77 inches) long!! We celebrated Daddy's 1st Father's day and went for brunch with Grandpa and Grandma Moffitt and Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Moffitt.
We started sleep training in July and you are now sleeping 10-12 hours a night. You will put yourself to bed and I love listening to you goo and gaaa to yourself before you go to sleep.
In July we went to visit Grandma and Grandpa McLellan. You are such a social butterfly and everyone we see when we are out and about you smile and giggle for!
At your 6 month vaccinations you weight 18lbs 10 oz (with your diaper and onzie on) and were 27.5 inches (71cms). You cried a bit after the shots but did really well! You have started babbling sooo much, you have always done it with a high pitched squeal but its not a bit lower almost like your actual voice. You are trying so hard to talk! You are also trying in the worst way to crawl. You will do supermans (lifting your arms and feet of the floor at the same time) and look like your swimming. You can 1/2 crawl. You will either be up on your hands or with your head down and your knees underneath you but you can't quite figure out how to put them together. You LOVE water and will splash like crazy - getting it in your eyes and all over your face but it doesn't seem to bug you at all...
You love sesame street - mostly Elmo it seems...you are rolling over all the time from your back to tummy and often sleep on your tummy now....you’re not quite mobile but move all over the living room floor by rolling and inch worm crawling (backwards mostly).
On July 8th you said DADA and your dad was very happy and proud :)
You are growing like crazy still and the happiest smiley little boy! You shared Daddy's birthday for your 1/2 birthday! You are a little daddy's boy that is for sure!
